New England Institute of Technology (ѻý) announced the establishment of its new College of Graduate and Professional Studies (GPS). The College of Graduate and Professional Studies implements innovative teaching practices that incorporate ѻý’s tradition of providing practical learning with flexible programs that accommodate students’ work and personal schedules. Course programs are offered in one of three ways: on-campus (traditional classroom); on-line; or hybrid (a combination of on-campus and on-line). All GPS programs offer 24/7 technical support, easy-to-use technology and access to faculty, student advising, and the university’s library, among other university services.
New England Institute of Technology’s College of Graduate and Professional Studies currently offers four Master’s degree programs in Information Technology, Occupational Therapy, Construction Management and Public Health; and four Bachelor’s degree programs in Nursing, Criminal Justice, Rehabilitation Sciences and Automotive Service Management. New England Institute of Technology was recently ranked #8 in the country by U.S. News and World Report (January 2017) for the quality and value of its online bachelor’s degree programs. Dr. Douglas H. Sherman, Senior Vice President and Provost. stated, “The College of Graduate and Professional Studies was established to incorporate our Master of Science degree programs and specialized professional Bachelor of Science degree programs into a separate and distinct unit.” “The demand for on-line and hybrid programs is rapidly evolving and will continue to grow. The schedules of today’s non-traditional students have become more demanding, and traditional on-campus programs do not always meet their needs. By establishing the College of Graduate and Professional Studies, New England Tech stands ready to assist these students as they continue their journey to an advanced degree and growth in their chosen professions.”
